Julian Plenti

Interpol frontman Paul Banks has recently launched his solo career under the name of Julian Plenti. This solo venture may lack the polished shine that Intepol have but has more diversity, with the inclusion of orchestras, synths, a wider range of sounds and an all round looser/relaxed feel, which Made from Plastic loves, welcomes and recommends you check out.

J Lindeberg Autumn/Winter 2009 Collection

J Lindeberg aren’t necessarily a new label but it’s one that Made from Plastic have liked for quite some time, which has only increased with their collections becoming more fashion orientated. J Lindeberg's style and look, stays true to their Swedish heritage, which is elegant but not traditional, arty but not snobbish, intellectual but not academic, timeless but conventional, progressive but not futuristic look, with the emphasis placed on quality fabrics and a superior cut.

Made from Plastic has been lucky enough to have seen their 2010 collection, which we are very excited about, however feel we should show you their equally impressive Autumn/Winter 2009 collection first.

SOPOPULAR Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

Made from Plastic has been lucky enough to have bin given a sneak peak at the 2010, SOPOPULAR spring and summer collection. This collection once again puts focus on the high-end treatment of top-quality materials that are tailored in Germany. This is reflected in the exact fit and feel of the designs. The collection remains faithful to the reduced and pragmatic style, the classic cuts, and slender outlines so typical of SOPOPULAR, underscored by a clear love of detail. The 2010 SOPOPULAR spring and summer collection comprises 26 pieces and Made from Plastic loves everyone of them.

Neon Indian

Neon Indian are a bit of a mystery as the duo, who make their music via correspondence due to the fact that they live in different parts of the US and wish to remain anonymous. The only thing that Made from Plastic does know about the duo is that make haunting, hazy, synthy, dreamy and brilliant music and Made from Plastic loves it.

Josh Weller

The London based Josh Weller is a talented multi instrumentalist, who has been pushing his leftfield indie pop jazz across the UK for the past year. Lyrically he has a deadly combination of melancholy humour and accurate wit, which is no surprise with his biggest influences including Woody Allen and Richard Pryor. Made from Plastic is firm follower of his, particularly his sharp image and Kid n Play style high top fade.
