Second Son (formerly known as Loki) is a London based clothing brand, who produce tight, original streetwear prints with an English twist. Their prints are very current without scaring anyone off or looking juvenile, allowing anyone over twenty to pull one on, which Made from Plastic thoroughly recommends.
Uniform Wares produce object and apparel intended for everyday use by individuals with an eye for meticulous design details. The products have an intentional pared down form that is characterised by distinct colour. Made from Plastic are big fans of Uniform Wares and their simple and sophisticated aesthetics.
Via Snella began in 2006, with creative mastermind Lina Zedig has strived to redefine the perception of masculinity for male fashion, whilst interweaving classic and modern. Their collections are all about conveying manliness, but not trendy manliness, which is unburdened from narrow mindedness and shallow aesthetic constraints. 
ONLY NY is a fantastic street wear brand based out of the west side of Manhattan. They combine innovative design with quality apparel, to create classic pieces. ONLY NY have also been a part of NY’s skateboarding and graffiti scene for many years, with every design is soaked with that all to distinct New York essence and those of you have been, know that’s a good thing.
All of you, who follow Made from Plastic, will already be well aware of our love for Dirt Box and guess what those scumbags have only gone and done it again. Not only have they gone and created four new designs, with Pub Pirate, Le Noir, Le Gris and BA (Hons) Fine Art, which is their strongest print to date but not for faint at heart.
Over the years the T-shirt has moved on from the undershirt to walking billboard of self expression and individualism. Whether it’s music, politics, TV, Film or a DIY special, the T-shirt has consistently been a firm favourite of ours, with those clever folks at Taschen compiling a collection of over 650 classics, with their up and coming publication Vintage T-shirts. 
Since Made from Plastic became a New Cross resident I have become increasingly fond of the Amersham Arms and is especially looking forward to Bad Seed, which will be celebrating its first night on 14/01/2010. Bad Seed is set to bring you the best in alternative, new wave, garage, surf and 80’s all handpicked by some of the best DJ’s around.
Many of you may have already noticed that Made from Plastic only occupies itself with men’s fashion but fear not female followers as I have stumbled across a superb women’s fashion blog in About Your Dress. Made from Plastic loves this blog because isn’t pretentious, over opinionated, millions of photos of some who loves themselves a little too much and is actually an utter joy to read.
Made from Plastic absolutely adores Canadian designer and School of Montreal graduate Missy Industry's jewellery at the moment. The pieces are made of sterling silver, with remarkable edge, uniqueness and eye-catching quality. Missy Industry stays true to precise craftsmanship, with each piece handmade and limited edition.
The latest in an extremely long line of must talk about bands come in the form of Morecambe based, The Heartbreaks, who make brilliantly poppy, poetic, charming and punchy music, which couldn’t be any better unless you were at the seaside, with fish & chips in hand. They are also extremely snappy dressers, which gets them double thumbs from Made from Plastic, so check them out.
New York based Warsaw Made is a superb one-person operation, making simple handcrafted fabric wares. They use mostly cotton canvas, webbings, and linings, and strong metal hardware with the occasional leather works, to create a conventional and classic style, with a true durability. 
The ongoing series of “Blank Canvas” collaborations from Fred Perry, has seen them team up with streetwear label Stussy. The capsule collection focuses on neat and sharp aesthetics, with it being referred to as “the definition of modernist” by Nick Bower (Creative Director, Stussy).
