London Fashion Week: Vivienne Westwood

YAY! London Fashion Week is finally upon us, it’s your second favorite time in the calendar, next to your birthday (you know its true). Whilst Made from Plastic wasn’t at the shows due to the lack of tickets (must have got lost in the post, fucking Royal Mail), we will be reporting from all the shows giving you the lowdown in a bite size and easy to digest form all week.

First on the agenda is another Made from Plastic favorite, I know we have lots of them, the first lady of anarchy Vivienne Westwood. Let’s fast forward in time to the present and where we have her “Vivienne Westwood Red Label” collection, which offers a less in your face style than we are used to, but then again she didn’t design the range, her team did and it shows. This isn’t a bad thing as it offers a more sensible line for the women who yearn to wear Westwood but are too fashion conservative. The range however, does feature some excellent pieces, in particular the pinstripe skirt suit, amongst many other superb items.

There were some very notable front row A-listers aswell, which were in the form of Girls Aloud Nicola Roberts, Siouxsie Sioux, Jamie Winstone and an unlikely appearance from David Walliams, which just shows how widespread her appeal is.
