Dirt Box: Interview

Made from Plastic recently had a chat with our favourite independent label and bunch of scumbags, yes the one and only Dirt Box. They gave us a little insight into what’s on the cards for the future, mixed in with their usual blend n tongue and check humour. More funny than informative but none the less a good read.

Describe Dirt-Box to people who don’t know what it’s about?
It’s about the people with the arses torn out of their jeans and the
knee's of an eighty year old plumber.

What made you want to start your own clothing brand?
I don't think we ever wanted to actually start a clothing brand we
just made our own clothes and our friends wanted some too so we made some for them and now we make them for their friends too.

Why the name Dirt-Box?
We’re a bunch of arseholes.

What’s your favourite Dirt-Box piece you’ve ever done?
Only done one, curiosity killed the cat but it didn't die curious.

What’s your favourite clothing label other than Dirt-Box?
Kaspa do nice prints.

What do you guys get up to in your spare time?
Try to keep the pubs in norwich out of finacial difficulty.

Describe you own personal style?
Dead man’s mannequin.

Who would you most love to see in a Dirt-Box T-shirt?
Jesus.

What sort of stuff have you got coming out soon and what else in store for Dirt-Box’s future?
Slasher vests, day glo rave has and some zip ups are coming soon and then we're hoping to get denim sorted eventually but we are all fuusy with jeans so it's going to take a while.
