The playful and coolly masculine signature of William Richard Green takes its point of departure in an unregimented outdoorsy upbringing. A self-proclaimed anti-conceptualist, the London-based designer works predominantly with denim and leisurewear fabrics and focuses on the re-contextualization of conventional textiles in relation to his themes. Green lists the gloominess of vintage science fiction, the idea of the lad, and a well-travelled mind as his sources of invention.
