ASOS: MA}KE

An innovative new concept from ASOS.com, where they have partnered with London College of Fashion to launch MA}ke, a design initiative which celebrates and supports MA design talent.
The successful 2010 graduates selected to be part of MA}ke are menswear designer Domingo Rodriguez. Domingo graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s University in 2008 and won the Menswear Award at Graduate Fashion Week. He then went on to secure a Harold Tillman Scholarship at London College of Fashion. Domingo has interned for Delphine Wilson Knitwear, Kim Jones and Carolyn Massey. In September 2010 he won the Fashion Award at the inaugural Wolf & Badger Graduate Design Awards.
Domingo’s collection of situational elegance has no basis in any fixed history. Construction, texture and colour are all soft with intricate cable knits. Fabrics of nude, bone, mink and dust include cashmere and silk blends in woven and jersey combinations, all sourced in Italy. The resulting collection has a luxurious handle and fit and nods to refined beauty with a clear, simple silhouette.
