Emma Ashford

Emma Ashford was born and raised in north London, with a spanish-anglo heritage, Emma uses her environment of London’s multi-cultural scenes and historic fashion cults to influence her design style, referencing various British subcultures. She graduated in 2009 with a BA in womenswear from the London college of fashion, where she would draw inspiration from menswear, fusing tailoring with sportswear detailing in flamboyant fabrics and translating them into womenswear.
Upon graduating from LCF she has decided to pursue her desire of dressing men with focus on glorifying the humour and rebellious nature associated with british style. Emma Ashford, the revolutionary British brand in neckwear is born out of a devotion to reinvent the symbolic accessory that is the tie, and create an attitude of British dressing that breaks convention.
