Rob originally used the Claude Maus name for its art exhibition projects, with his artist and graphic design background.Claude Maus clothing evolved in 1999 and was quickly recognized as a new force to be reckoned with in the Australian fashion industry and scooping various awards, going from concept to fully fledged fashion label in the space of a few years.
Claude Maus now has a strong underground following within Australia and overseas. The cult-like status of Claude Maus is transferred to the music scene, with the likes of Cut Copy, and The Presets as fans.
